Infant Care Program

12 to 18 Months

Your child is developing at an incredibly fast rate in theirfirst year.  This is an essential time for them to learn using all their senses. Our activities use a multi-sensory approach to cater to the individual needs of your child. The centre has lots of interesting toys and activities that will stimulate your baby’s curiosity to explore.

Toddler Care Program

18 Months to 3 Years
Ratio 6:1

Toddlers crave the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe yet stimulating environment.  Our teachers provide toddlers with the opportunity to develop self-help skills, develop language skills and  social skills by interacting with peers.  We have a range of activities that will introduce them to the world of categories, shapes, sizes, colours, counting and recognizing numbers, and letters.

Kindergarten Care Program

4 to 5 Years
Ratio 10:1

Our kindergarteners are offered an enhanced program which combines play-based (self-guided, situational learning) and academic-learning (math, early literacy, reading, writing, science, music, social and environmental responsibility).

After School Care Program

6 to 12 Years
Ratio 15:1

Our school-aged children choose from a variety of activities at our centre, including catching up on homework, computer lab time, block play, educational board games, free play, and arts/crafts.  We also hold a variety of exercises of which the goal is to further develop math skills , literacy, and social skills.    The children set up clubs based on their interests (Gardening, Games, LEGO, Origami).

Preschool Care Program

3 to 4.5 Years
Ratio 8:1

Our preschool program continues to build on social and self-help skills and shifts focus on academic-related and creative learning.  Children are able to develop their problem solving and decision-making skills through science, creative arts, math, language and literacy, and dramatic play. Activities are designed to meet children’s need for independence.

Our Philosophy
A comfortable yet engagingenvironment is essential to a child’s wellbeing and development.  Our programs provide the structure to allowchildren to thrive on routine but also allow for flexibility so that they canexplore all possibilities that surround them. We believe that play is an important part of learning for children ofall ages.

Unique Features

Indoor Gym

We have an indoor gym room so that children can participate in physical activities, regardless of the weather outside.

We also host celebrations (Christmas Parties, Halloween Dance, Preschool Graduation ), performances (Spring Performance), and special classes (i.e. Ballet, Hip-Hop) in this space.

Noon Program

We offer a noon program from children who do not require nap or sleep for shorter periods.

Children in the noon program get an opportunity to socialize with peers and engage in stimulating activities like music, building and loose parts, group games, gross motor activities, imaginary play, storytelling, and dance.

Passcode Entry & Security Cameras

Providing a safe environment is a key aspect of our centre. Security camerias are set up in each room. A passcode is required for exiting and entering the building.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is delivered through a balance of child-directed and teacher-guided learning activities, while keeping in mind developmentally appropriate practice. Our program focuses on all areas of child development: social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative. We also encourage children to value and cultivate a respect for self, the environment, and for others, as well as independence through caring and nurturing interactions, positive guidance, and role modeling.

Meet our Amazing Team

Miss. Michelle
Executive Director & Owner
Miss. Michelle has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 20 years. Using her field expertise and unique perspective, she has created a place that will feel like home away from home for your child, where they can safely learn, laugh, play, and grow. Miss. Michelle takes Eastern teaching styles and them to our programs to showcase the importance of the creative arts, fostering independence, and a beautiful environment when it comes child development.

Miss. Michelle has taught in Canada, Singapore, and China where she is originally from. There, she obtained a Bachelor of Education Management and a degree in Early Childhood Education. For several years, Miss. Michelle was a teacher and later director at a prestigious international school. Miss. Michelle is a certified Child Development Educator ( Level 3 )
Ms. Norie
Program Director
Ms. Norie oversees the center programs to ensure that the care, activities, and environment meet your child's needs and promotes their overall development. The best part of her job is being there to witness the excitement, wonder, and curiosity in your child's everyday, and getting to help create those special moments. You will find Ms. Norie all around the centre, greeting parents, assisting the staff, playing pretend farm, wiping little faces, and reading stories (another favourite).

She is currently pursuing studies at the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute towards Level 3 Certification. Ms. Norie studied Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Toronto where she obtained her post-graduate degree. There, she was also a teaching and research assistant studying the topics of education and communication.
Ms. Rajni
Daycare Manager & Educator
Ms. Rajni puts your child's wellbeing first in everything she does at the centre. With their distinctive needs, health, and safety in mind, she ensures that our procedures and policies are being met. Ms. Rajni is currently leading our Preschool Program. Providing children with a warm and encouraging environment is something that she firmly believes are fundamental to a child's development. Ms. Rajni is amazing at repurposing leftover craft materials and loose ends to create beautiful art displays.

With 15 years experience in the Early Childhood Education field, Ms. Rajni has taught diverse age groups from infants to school-aged children. She was an Elementary School Teacher in India where she obtained both a bachelor of education and post-graduate degree in Fashion. Ms. Rajni is a certified Child Development Educator ( Level 3 )
Ms. Janine
Dayhome Consultant
Ms. Janine has been working in the Childcare field since 2009, she bares lot's of experience in Educator and Director roles. Her primary function is as a consultant for work within our Dayhomes.

Outside of work, she enjoys playing sports, reading, photography, and traveling/camping with her family.

Ms. Janine graduated from Mount Royal College with a diploma in Early Learning, and is a certified Early Development Educator ( Level 3 )
